During my final year of university (2022), a few friend and I conceptualised a show that would be made up of works in progress.I took on multiple roles including organiser, photographer, curator, and even featured my own work.
PROCESS
Over a couple of months I took the lead in organisation, contacted artists and DJs, and arranged a venue. On the day we worked with the artists showing to create an intentional layout as well as with the DJs so that everything was cohesive. Despite being our first attempt at putting on an event, it was a success with the venue reaching full capacity and we were encouraged to pursue this further in the future.

FINAL POSTER & INITIAL CONCEPTS
Together with the other organisers of the show, I created a poster that would be put on Avalon Cafe’s social media as well as postered around New Cross. I focused on typography, layout and colours. Below I’ve included some of my initial concepts which I created alone and feature the photo and more minimal style and the final design created collaboratively which is in black and green and features the drawing by Luke Caplowe.
